Biography

Award-winning programmes including: GRIERSON best documentary series, GRIERSON best historical documentary, FIPA (French BAFTA) silver award for music documentary, American SAN FRANCISCO best TV arts documentary, PEABODY and CINE GOLDEN EAGLE awards. 

All genres: corporate, music videos & commercials, but mainly broadcast TV - eg: Omnibus, Arena, South Bank Show, Arthouse, Everyman, Cutting Edge, Natural World, Legends, and numerous French co-productions.

I’m always keen to understand new methods as they come along: trained on various gauges of film (the original “non-linear” editing), seen the introduction of many video formats, been one of the early adopters of AVID, and now editing also on FCP (own kit / cutting room available). www.andrewfindlay.net
