Biography

I am a freelance Director of Photography. I live in Queenstown, and travel throughout New Zealand and the world filming a broad variety of subjects. My specialty is creating compelling commercial imagery for global brands. I have shot projects for companies such as Nike, Hewlett Packard, Solar World, Hyundai, Casio, 42 Below, 1791 Diamonds, Atomic, Vodafone, Accor, Olay, and countless others.

I am experienced with most camera systems. I shoot exclusively with HD camera equipment, and I have a solid working knowledge of post production workflows and visual effects techniques.

I work with both small crews and large crews, in a variety of condition’s and terrains. I own several HD Camera packages including the latest
Red Epic & Red Scarlet, the Sony PDW-700 XDCAM and the Canon 5D Mark II and Canon 5D Mark III.

As a Queenstown Cameraman I work extensively throughout the Queenstown and Wanaka region on a large variety of projects. I also shoot frequently in Auckland and Wellington and I have an excellent team of lighting assistants and camera assistants that I work with nationwide.

I am currently shooting a lot of jobs in Auckland, and as such I am available to work ex. Auckland.

I love working with interesting and talented people, and I am very lucky to be able to make a living making beautiful pictures.
