Borescope

A lens system for macro close up photography.

A borescope is used for filming small objects at close proximity. A good example would be for filming insects where a shot of an ant would be able to fill the screen. Borescopes tend to work best at a small aperture in order to obtain a good depth of field and therefore need a good amount of light to be available.
