Car Mount

A device for mounting a camera and lights on a moving car.

The camera can be placed on the bonnet using the bonnet beam assembly or on the door using a door rig. Car mounts are used to film actors driving vehicles as well as point of view shots. Safety is extremely important and the consequences of a mistake can be at least costly and at worst, fatal. It's therefore good practice to have the car mount rigged and checked by an experienced Grip. Adequate insurance cover must also be in place.
