Cost report

This is the means by which your broadcaster can judge if you are on target to complete your production on or over or even under budget, and will tell them if you are spending the production budget appropriately. A cost report spreadsheet is provided by your broadcaster for you to complete at regular intervals. The cost report allows your broadcaster to ascertain if you are on or over budget at any stage of the production and it also identifies if you are overspending on any single budget line and underspending elsewhere.
