Distagon lens
The name for a type of photographic lens made by German manufacturer Carl Zeiss and normally used with film cameras.
Because of their high optical quality, these lenses have a maximum aperture of around f1.4 making them very useful in low light situations. A film camera kit will often come with a set of distagon prime lenses.
