Estimate to complete
ESTIMATE TO COMPLETE: When you have a working budget that you’re spending on, the estimate to complete column in your budget, either per budget line or as an overall total, tells you how much money you have left to spend, based on your original budget. So a budget that said GBP10,000 for shooting, and you’re halfway through, should show a spent budget of GBP5,000
and an estimate to complete of GBP5,000. Estimate to complete is a term used by heads of production and commissioners when checking your cashflow and cost reports.
