Extreme Close Up
Extreme Close Up is often abbreviated to ECU and this term appears in a script, storyboard or shotlist to describe the size of the shot. It usually relates to a person but can sometimes refer to other objects as well.
For a shot of a person, an ECU will include just the eyes or perhaps the mouth but not the whole head as shown above.
