Fine cut
This is the penultimate stage of your offline edit. In a finecut you will bring your film to exact duration and it will have everything in it that you want in your final
pictures. It may have graphics missing, and the music and sound design will not
yet be in place, but essentially this is it. Once finecut is approved, you have
picture lock. Now your post production can start.
