Accessory attached to the lens which allows a camera assistant or focus puller to take control of focussing the lens.
The follow focus unit is operated by the focus puller and is used to keep the subject being filmed in focus. A follow focus unit can be physically attached to the lens via the matte box support rails or can be a radio link remote controlled unit.
