The term for a Chromakey Green background which the live action or
foreground is filmed against
The green background is then replaced in
post production with a different scene or graphics. This allows the
foreground to be superimposed onto a background scene which may have
been shot in a different location. The background can be either a
chromakey green cloth or you can buy chromakey green paint to colour the
cyc or floor. This process is also often achieved with a blue background instead of green.
