HDCAM SR uses ultra mild signal compression and encodes using RGB 4:4:4 at a bit rate of up to 880Mbps which offers the very best in picture quality. It also has the ability to record 12 uncompressed audio tracks making it perfect for multi channel surround sound mastering.
