Hi Hat

A Hi Hat can refer to either a support for a camera or a light. For a camera it is a metal casting with a 100 or 150 mm bowl fitting which accepts a fluid head and is used to achieve low angle shots whilst allowing the camera operator to pan & tilt.

Hi Hat is also sometimes used to refer to a ground level lighting stand.
