Limpet mounts come in a range of sizes for different weights of equipment. The limpet mount has a circular rubber base which is held in position on the surface whilst the air is pumped out creating a vacuum between the surface and the mount which then holds the mount firmly in place. It is important to follow the manufacturers guidelines when using a limpet mount.
