Master tape
The master tape is the transmission master, the tape that is sent to the broadcaster for transmission. If you are working in a corporate or commercial environment, the master tape is the final tape which you deliver to your client.
It has all fully completed pictures, sound and graphics on it and has been signed off by the broadcaster or client.
