The Sony PD150 is sometimes used when larger cameras are not suitable such as small, hazardous or restricted access environments. Can also be used as an occaissional '2nd camera' to accompany
Digi Beta,
DVCPRO50 or larger
DVCAMs such as the
DSR450. For Broadcast Television, the allowable amount of footage originated on the PD150 will be limited to a small percentage of the overall programme length.
