Premix
This is a post production session that comes after tracklay but before voice over and final mix.
It is more a technical session to allow your dubbing mixer to prepare all the tracks from your tracklay ready for mixing when you go to final mix. In an ideal world, you will premix prior to voice over. This gives you a more polished sound track to work with when you have your voice talent with you. If necessary a premix can be done afterwards if talent availability is an issue.
