Production Risk Assessment
A Production Risk Assessment or PRA is a form that every production has to complete for its broadcaster and insurance company. It's also a very useful tool for the production team to use to guide them through what they want to film and how to achieve it safely identifying the known risks, limiting the risks and detailing such areas as medical and political evacuation, and methods of working if undertaking stunts or working with large items of camera and grip equipment.
It's there to make sure you've thought it through, planned and put in place all necessary safety precautions to ensure your shoot goes smoothly.
