A lightweight but very sturdy, ride on tracking
dolly manufactured in Holland by Prosup
The Prosup Laptop is a superbly engineered
dolly made from high grade aluminium and stainless steel. It incorporates a swivel seat so the
camera operator can ride on the dolly, a feature normally found on much heavier dollies like the Chapman
Pee Wee. The seat, pushbar and support column are removable and the dolly base folds in half and the whole package fits into a space 70cm x 45cm x 8cm and weighs only 18 kgs. You can choose between pneumatic or track wheels so the dolly will run on standard metal track. It has other useful features like 2 x 100mm
bowl fittings in the dolly base for low angle tracking shots and it can also take a standard tripod using integral tie down points, or a
bazooka on a centrally mounted
boss fitting. It's a great piece of kit and can be used when you'd really like a
Pee Wee but can't afford it.
