Rough cut
A roughcut is the first viewable cut of your film. It will be a few minutes over length, may have some music in it but not all, graphics will be missing, but essentially, it shows the path of argument and structure of your film. It is a discussion document for you and your executive producer from which you will make decisions for your finecut.
