Sony HVR A1E
The HVR A1E is useful for additional photography where space is limited. It's easily fixed to vehicles for POV shots or for in car pieces to camera. Also sometimes used for 'video diary' applications because it has a fully automatic mode and is simple to operate.
Records in HDV format onto HDV tape.
