Sony SRW-5500
The Sony SRW-5500 is a dual format Hi-Def VTR.
There are two main advantages to the SRW550. Firstly, iIt will play back both HDCAM and HDCAM SR format tapes. Secondly, it has both Standard-Def and Hi-Def outputs and can therefore be used to digitise from during an offline edit.
