Technical Assessment

This is a step up from technical review and is normally used when a programme master is being distributed worldwide where the standards for acceptance are more stringent. During a tech review, the reviewer will not physically stop the tape to inspect anything that catches their eye, but in a tech assess, the assessor will frequently stop the tape to review particular things and may even call the producer to the suite to talk through any problems. For this reason, clones and other deliverables cannot be made during a tech assess but can be made during a tech review.
