Tripod

Device for supporting a camera. Tripods come in a wide range of sizes and build strengths to accomodate different weights of camera and are fitted with a removable fluid head or geared head which in turn supports the camera allowing it to pan & tilt. Tripods are height adjustable allowing the operator to position the camera at the correct height for the shot. Also known as legs, tall legs, short legs, or baby legs.
