Lizzie Minnion

Lizzie began her editing career in the year 2000, and has edited a diverse range of film & television, most recently working extensively at the BBC with Dr Who Confidential, editing backstage documentaries for the BBC dramas Dr Who, Merlin and Torchwood.

Lizzie also has a strong track record in independent film and in 2006 edited the award winning feature length documentary "The Ballad of Vicki and Jake".

Lizzie worked in theatre and film production before she began a career in editing, and the breadth of this experience has given her an excellent understanding of story structure and narrative in both documentary and fiction. She is comfortable working in both drama and documentary, and is experienced on both Final Cut Pro and AVID systems.

Lizzie is passionate about storytelling and loves working with people. She is also confident to use her initiative and work quickly and constructively when Directors/Producers have to be elsewhere.
