Louise has that rare combination of creative and organizational gifts that make her the answer to virtually every challenge a network exec faces. She's helped me on several high profile projects and delivered on time and on budget to a superior level each and every time. She understands both the US and UK markets and can navigate both.Plus, Louise is a lot of fun!
I'm happy to act as a reference any time.
Louise stepped in at the last minute to produce a series whose original producer had fallen ill. She delivered the series on time and to budget. It exceeded my expectations, looking fantastic and rating brilliantly. The next time I went to her first.
Louise was nominated for an RTS West for “Special Babies” - an observational documentary series following the lives of doctors, nurses and patients on a premature baby unit, which she series produced and directed. From that series, she has gone on to series produce 15 x 30 Nanny School for Discovery UK, Running Blind for BBC Scotland about one of the UK's top Paralympic athletes, as well as daytime series for BBC1 and ITV1, and most recently long-form history docs for BBC4 and a cinema release drama doc for Oceans Discovery GmbH.
With strong writing skills, attention to detail and a desire to know more, Louise produces in-depth films that reveal elements of the story the audience could never guess at. She prides herself on "saying something" in every film she makes.
Louise recently published "Nanny in a Book" with Random House/Vermilion and is currently working on her next book - watch this space!
