Michael Lansdell

I have worked in TV and New Media since 2005, after graduating with a 2:1 in Animation from the Surrey Institute of Art and Design. Moving from Animation to Factual programming means I have a wide range of experience and a diverse skill set. I'm as comfortable creating media within Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Flash and Illustrator as I am editing ten hours of rushes into a coherent 15 minute film within Final Cut Pro and playing it out to tape for delivery, or creating a custom DVD menu in DVD Studio Pro and delivering a master for reproduction. In my current job I have also had the opportunities to work as a Flash artist in the Interactive Department and design for print when a programme has had a DVD release. As well as my professional work in television, I have volunteered as a tutor for Integrate Bristol, both in Storyboarding and Online/Colour Grading on the UK's first Somalian film, Dhag Dheer. I have also created and performed live visual accompaniments for a wide variety of international musicians. I thrive on the trials and pressures work has presented me, and am looking for my next challenge.
