Many years of experience in the industry have taught me that a cameraman brings more to a successful production than just the images he gathers. Obviously, footage has to be of the highest quality, but for a professional that is the easy part.
I believe I can offer much more than simply excellent footage. My background both in location shooting and managing my own company ( founder of Facilities Company The Cruet Company ) gives me the ability to work well in the most sensitive situations and to get on with any client, director or production crew. Whilst Documentary is my main working area, I have worked extensively on corporate productions, location based music shows and in children’s television. I am able to work with the full range of camera equipment from Digi Beta to DV.
If required, I am also happy to work un-directed as with the ‘making of’ programmes or actuality shooting.
I have worked in America, China, The Philippines, the Middle East and Europe.
A cameraman today must be flexible in the way he shoots and be able to deliver pictures that blend with the style of any given programme. I am used to delivering everything from a beautifully lit interview to a hand held, available light run around. I believe I can add to the quality and smooth running of any production, large or small.
