I've been a freelance sound recordist for 17 years . Although I work mainly in the observational documentary and arts fields, I have also worked on a number of dramas, short films and many drama docs.
Current work includes Dawn Chorus, a nationwide touring installation with Marcus Coates, and most recently the BBC1 documentary - Fix My Fat Head.
I have also worked alongside The National Theatre and The Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
I'm happy to work across all formats, having worked one day with a self-shooter with Z1, the next day on full-size hi-def on a drama.
I have spent a lot of time filming in contributors' houses and am sensitive to peoples needs, working with troubled teenagers and vulnerable members of the public. I also have a full CRB check.
I own my own kit, which includes:-
4 x radio mics
various gun mics
SQN mixer
Walkie Talkies
plus all other accessories to suit filming days.
