About me, well, I have a wide range of skills and experience both on and off the Steadicam. I've shot a variety of pieces for Live Sports, Chat Shows, Music Videos, Coporate, Commercials and lots of more. I am a very friendly and approachable person and can always be found with smile on my face. I love doing what I do and particularly enjoy working in the live environment both as a tripod/handheld camera operator and Steadicam operator. There’s just something about only having one chance to capture exactly what is needed that I find exciting and rewarding. I’ve always been a do-er and like to be active and get on with things, this doesn’t mean I don’t take time to work things through when needed though. I have a very logical and graphical brain and have the ability to visualise situations and map out in my head (and on paper if need be) what needs to be done to achieve a goal. I take pride in everything I do and always work hard to make whatever I’m doing the best it possibly can be.
As a member of the Guild of Television Cameramen and Steadicam Operators Association I always strive to produce the best work possible and am always on the lookout for new and innovative ways of producing content using the latest equipment to a technical and creative advantage. I love flying Steadicam, these rigs open up endless shot possibilities and the camera can be choreographed into the action much more intently. The fluidity of motion on the camera, going places a track and dolly would never reach, produces shots with added production value and real class that no other piece of equipment can achieve.
