Delivering Make weights & Snap ins

Most broadcasters ask for their makeweights and snap-ins to be delivered on the same tape as the rest of the elements that compliment your final film.  However, if your main film requires lots of laid-off international elements, this may mean that delivery of the main film, international elements plus makeweights and snap-ins along with their own international elements produces a 2 hour tape for a 1 hour film in order to gather all these pieces together under one roof.

Check with your broadcaster that they're happy to receive a 2 hr tape before you spend the money - this is particularly important if delivering on HDCam SR which is very expensive.  Some broadcasters may prefer two tapes with the extra elements separate from the main show.  There are no rules on who does and who doesn't like it which way, so always check.

Once you know what the broadcaster prefers, go ahead and deliver as you normally would.
