Unaccompanied freight

How to send equipment as freight
For larger amounts of kit and projects which are longer term where you can send some of the equipment ahead of you, it can be much cheaper to send it as unaccompanied freight. If you use this method, we strongly advise you to use an experienced & reputable shipping agent such as Dynamic International
Essential - Do your research on how your destination country deals with incoming freight.
Most European Union countries and the USA are straight forward and you'll be able to see clearly what needs to be done. Some more 'exotic' locations can be very tricky indeed and you could end up having your kit impounded, confiscated or 'lost'. Some countries also insist that you to use their own customs agents and charge a substantial fee for the privilege.
Don't take a chance
Do not be tempted to take a chance that your shipment will clear customs anyway, or that your crew will be able to sort it out when they collect the equipment at the destination port.
It's well worth seeking specialist advice from a good shipping or travel agent who will have all the advice and contacts you need.
Michael Jones @ Dynamic International .......
"Freight is often a cheaper and more practical option and it doesn't have to be slow. We can arrange door to door delivery to any location in the world with daily departures from most UK airports. It's very important to understand the shipping process and the documents needed for successful customs clearance. All countries have slightly different procedures and the last thing you want is for your production kit to be impounded at its destination".
