If I had to sum Richard up in 3 words I’d say, talented, diligent and
rugged, basically he is is a wonderful cameraman with a great eye and he’s
good company. He has shot some great sequences for Ammonite’s productions,
his knowledge of Kenya and the Masai Mara in particular has contributed
hugely to the success of the shoots that he has been on.

Biography

I have worked on programmes throughout the world but mainly in Africa for BBC, Discovery, National Geographic, PBS, ORF, ZDF and NHK. I have filmed on nearly every format available from Imax (65mm), 35mm, 16mm film, all Digital video formats, the latest High Definition and also Digital Cinema(RED One). I also have experience with the latest High-speed HD cameras(PHOTRON, PHANTOM) and Low Light IR technology. I mainly do Natural History filming because this is my passion but have also done documentry films, sports inserts and Non broadcast conservation films. And I have even done a little filming on a Feature film.
