Rob Lacey

Working as a Freelance Sound Recordist over the years I have worked on numerous broadcast and corporate projects all over the world involving all types of location shooting including multiple camera, documentary and drama shoots.

I have experience working on all sizes of productions and am equally at home up a mountain, with just me and the director, as I am working alongside a large drama crew. I own a large collection of kit that can be tailored to meet the needs of any project. I always aim to be as flexible as possible and work alongside the production to get the best results.

I entered the industry after studying BA(Hons) in Film Studies at Southampton and then worked as a staff technician at a facilities house & communications agency. I have had experience in production, editing, lighting and shooting in the past so have a well rounded knowledge of the industry. I also still shoot 2nd camera when required on projects.
