Sam Montague

London based lighting cameraman, DoP and camera supervisor with 20 years experience in documentaries, TV, promos, commercials, corporate and drama on film and HD.

After studying art, photography and film, I worked in many areas of film and TV production before specialising in cameras and lighting.

As well as working on shorts, commercials and docs, I began shooting and producing music promos, (Primal Scream, Ride, The Farm, Carter USM, Senseless Things, My Bloody Valentine...) and quickly established myself as a much sought after DoP.

Since then I've been working on a wide range of productions and subjects and have been privileged to work on some amazing projects which have taken me all over the world.

Current projects include a short drama shot on Red and various shoots with Canon 5D, including GBBO titles.
