Biography

After initially starting my career in Photography I moved into Broadcast filming and for the last 14 years I have been working as a D.O.P. &  Lighting Cameraman, resulting so far in two award winning documentaries, an EMMY in 1999 and a Nat West EMMA in 2003. I am highly versatile having worked worldwide and on many diverse projects which have included filming in a Zero Gravity simulation, across oceans, through deserts, to shooting in the Favelas of Brazil.  Whether it’s shooting from boats, aircraft, the top of cranes or studio based projects I’m fully adaptable to the technical and creative demands of each project. I am equally at home working closely with a team or left to my own resources. I fully understand the need for communication and the ability to have a true empathy with the contributor and subject matter whatever the conditions.
